IE8 and below

Is there a way to add a message that appears should someone be using IE8 and below? I like this slider a lot, but the images are very important to my site and no explanation to the user on how they can rectify this is troubling to me.

Yes, you can verify with JavaScript the userAgent and add a specific text that will appear to those who use IE8 or less than IE8.
